Adsy Review: How the Guest Post Marketplace Works
An independent Adsy review: how the guest post marketplace works, who sets prices, refund and link removal terms, and who it suits best.
Adsy is a self-serve marketplace where you browse publisher websites, pick the ones you want, and pay each publisher's listed price for a guest post. It suits buyers who want to choose their own sites and are comfortable vetting them.
This review is based on Adsy's own homepage, advertiser pages, FAQ and terms, checked in October 2026. It is not based on first-hand testing, and it uses the site's published review criteria.
Best for: SEOs and agencies who want full control over site selection, flexible budgets and no monthly commitment.
Not ideal for: buyers who want a done-for-you service, or anyone who wants long-term protection if a link is later removed.
What is Adsy?
Adsy describes itself as a guest posting and content placement platform connecting advertisers with publishers. Its homepage claims "150K+" unique websites, with about 10,000 added in the previous month, while its advertiser page shows an inventory figure of 64,200 sites in its interface. Adsy doesn't explain the difference between the two figures.
As a link building marketplace, Adsy doesn't do outreach on your behalf. Publishers list their sites and prices, and you place orders.
What can you buy on Adsy?
| Order type | What happens |
|---|---|
| Content placement | You supply the article and the publisher publishes it |
| Writing and placement | The publisher writes the article to your brief (URL, anchor text and requirements) and publishes it |
Most orders are guest posts. You set the target URL and anchor text in the order form, so the responsibility for a natural anchor mix sits with you.
How much does Adsy cost?
Prices are set by publishers, so there is no single Adsy price list. As shown on its site in October 2026:
| Cost item | What Adsy publishes |
|---|---|
| Placement price | Set by each publisher, sortable from lowest price |
| Writing and placement | Priced separately per site, shown alongside placement-only |
| Subscription | None published |
| Top-up fee | "No commission for top-ups", according to its advertiser page |
| Minimum prepayment | $25, per its terms |
| Refunds | Credits are "final and non-refundable", with narrow exceptions in the first 30 days for payments made in error where no credits were used |
Because prices vary by site, what you'll pay depends on the authority, traffic and niche of the sites you choose. The link building cost guide gives wider context on typical price bands.
How does ordering work on Adsy?
The process is the same for any marketplace of this type, with Adsy's published deadlines attached.
- Prepay credits to your balance (minimum $25)
- Filter the inventory and pick sites
- Submit your article, or brief the publisher to write one
- The publisher has up to 3 working days to accept the task
- Once it's published, you have 7 calendar days to review before it's accepted automatically
Control is high. You see each site and its metrics before you order, and you approve the finished post. The flip side is that vetting is your job, which is where a backlink vetting checklist earns its keep.
What metrics and filters does Adsy show?
Adsy says it offers "20+ filters with SEO, internal, and product metrics". Metrics named on its homepage include Moz DA, Ahrefs DR, Semrush Authority Score, Similarweb traffic and Ahrefs organic traffic.
It also applies a quality threshold to publishers: according to its FAQ, sites with a task completion rate at or below 30% aren't shown in the main "All sites" list. That is a useful filter on reliability, though not a guarantee of link quality.
Turnaround and guarantees
Turnaround depends on the publisher, within the deadlines above. Adsy says it "monitors the presence of links", but its terms limit removal claims to 30 days after publication and say it won't accept claims for later removals by third parties.
There is no published link lifetime guarantee. For context, some other marketplaces offer longer protection, which is worth weighing if link longevity matters to you.
Adsy pros and cons
| Pros | Cons |
|---|---|
| You choose every site and approve every post | Vetting sites is your responsibility |
| No subscription, $25 minimum top-up | Credits are non-refundable once bought |
| Large inventory with DR, DA and traffic filters | Removal claims only accepted for 30 days |
| Option to have the publisher write the content | Content quality depends on the publisher you pick |
| Low-completion publishers hidden from the main list | Inventory size figures differ across pages |
Who should use Adsy?
Adsy fits SEOs and agencies who know what a good site looks like and want to buy placements without a retainer. Being able to pick sites one by one makes it practical for testing small budgets.
It is a weaker fit for beginners or busy teams without time to vet sites, and for buyers who need links protected beyond the first month. A managed or productised service would take that work off your hands.
