fatjoe vs Bazoom: Managed Outreach or a Media Marketplace?
fatjoe vs Bazoom compared: managed English-language outreach against a multi-market media marketplace, on price, control, speed and guarantees.
fatjoe and Bazoom solve the same problem in opposite ways. fatjoe is a managed service: you order a DR tier and its team finds an English-language blog, writes the content and places the link. Bazoom is a marketplace: you browse its network of media outlets, filter by metrics, pick the sites you want and pay the listed price, which includes content and publication.
Bazoom is a Danish company (Bazoom Group ApS, based in Aarhus) with offices it lists in Copenhagen and Miami. It says its network covers more than 80,000 media outlets across 65+ markets. That international reach is the main reason buyers compare the two.
Everything here comes from each company's own site, checked October 2026. Neither service was tested first-hand.
Pick fatjoe if you want someone else to find, vet and place links on English-language blogs at fixed prices, with a lifetime link guarantee and unbranded CSV reports for clients.
Pick Bazoom if you want to choose every site yourself, need links in non-English markets, or want fast publication on existing media outlets you can see and assess before buying.

How does pricing work at fatjoe and Bazoom?
fatjoe publishes a fixed ladder: £60 for DR10+, £80 DR20+, £100 DR30+, £180 DR40+, £280 DR50+ and £380 DR60+, the same for blogger outreach and niche edits, as listed in October 2026. You know the price before you know the site.
Bazoom works the other way. Each outlet has its own price, visible once you're in the platform, and Bazoom says prices include both the content and the publication. Its pricing pages say there's no sign-up, subscription or platform fee and no minimum spend, though it recommends at least $100 per order. The same page shows a "Pro $49 /mo" column without explaining what it covers, so ask before you sign up.
Bazoom has published its own view of market rates from its network, which gives a sense of scale:
| DR band | fatjoe fixed price (GBP) | Bazoom's published market range (USD) |
|---|---|---|
| 20 to 39 | £80 to £100 | $60 to $150 |
| 40 to 54 | £180 to £280 | $150 to $350 |
| 55 to 69 | £380 (DR60+) | $300 to $650 |
| 70+ | Not offered as a link tier | $500 to $1,200+ |
Bazoom's ranges come from its 2026 pricing article, not a price list, and individual outlets vary. For context on why prices climb so steeply with DR, see the link building cost guide.
How are the links sourced?
fatjoe's outreach team approaches bloggers, writes the article or added paragraph, and places one in-content link per order. It checks past orders so a client isn't placed on the same domain twice.
Bazoom's links come from media outlets that apply to join its network and set their own prices. Bazoom writes the content to fit each outlet's guidelines. It hasn't published its vetting criteria, so the metrics in the platform (it lists Ahrefs, Moz and Semrush data) are your main quality filter. Media outlets differ in how they label paid content, so check how each one handles sponsored posts and link attributes before buying.
How much control do you have?
This is the clearest difference. On fatjoe's link products you choose the tier, anchor and target URL, and fatjoe chooses the site; you can't pre-approve. Its Media Placements product is the exception, letting you browse media sites and choose one.
On Bazoom you choose everything, filtering by metrics and category, and Bazoom also offers a strategy from its SEO team and a done-for-you route where you hand over keywords and URLs. Control means responsibility, though: you're judging each site's quality yourself.
Turnaround compared
As a rule of thumb, marketplaces are faster than outreach because the publisher has already agreed to sell placements. Bazoom's homepage claims a four-day average publication time, its pricing table says three to four days, and its FAQ says most links go live within an average of eight days. fatjoe quotes "from 14 days delivery", since each placement is negotiated from scratch.
Reporting, white label and guarantees
fatjoe is built for resale: a dashboard of live placements with a DR snapshot and an unbranded CSV export. Bazoom offers real-time campaign tracking in its platform, with projects, orders and invoices managed in one place, but doesn't publish a white label or unbranded report product.
fatjoe offers a lifetime link guarantee on outreach and niche edits and a 100% money-back guarantee if an order misses its stated guarantees. Bazoom's terms guarantee an article stays published for 12 months, with a replacement of equal value or a credit note if a publisher removes it early, and a credit note if a service can't be delivered.
Which should you choose?
Choose fatjoe if you're an agency that wants English-language links without reviewing sites, at a known price per tier, with resale-ready reporting and long-term cover.
Choose Bazoom if you need links in markets fatjoe doesn't cover, want to pick and assess every outlet yourself, or need faster publication. It's also the better route to DR70+ media outlets, which fatjoe's link tiers don't reach.
