The HOTH vs Rhino Rank: US vs UK Link Building Compared

The HOTH vs Rhino Rank compared on guest post and link insertion pricing, delivery targets, white label reporting, managed services and guarantees.

The HOTH and Rhino Rank both sell done-for-you links at fixed prices, mostly to agencies who resell them. You choose a product, a tier, a target URL and an anchor, and their teams handle outreach, writing and placement. Neither offers site pre-approval as standard.

Where they differ is speed, price and scope. The HOTH is a Florida-based SEO company, founded in 2010 according to its site, with a wide catalogue that includes managed SEO. Rhino Rank is a UK link specialist founded in 2017, with tighter delivery targets, lower entry prices and a managed link service that starts at $250 a month.

Facts below come from each company's own site, checked October 2026. Neither was ordered from or tested for this page.

Pick The HOTH if you want one supplier for links, content, local SEO, digital PR and fully managed SEO, or need high-end placements like its Platinum Links.

Pick Rhino Rank if you want lower entry prices, faster published delivery, 12-month replacement cover, and a no-questions refund on your first order.

How does pricing compare?

Both price in USD. As listed in October 2026:

Product The HOTH Rhino Rank
Entry guest post $150 (DA or DR 20+) $75 (DA10+), $95 (DA20+)
30+ guest post $225 $130
40+ guest post $345 $200 (500+ traffic guideline)
50+ guest post $405 $300 (1,000+ traffic guideline)
Entry link insertion $200 (DR20+) $60 (20 to 100 referring domains)
Top link insertion $450 (DR60+) $210 (1,000+ referring domains)

Rhino Rank is cheaper at every comparable guest post tier on published prices. Its link insertions, which it calls Curated Links, are measured by how many referring domains the host site has rather than by DR, so the comparison with The HOTH's insertions is approximate.

The HOTH's catalogue reaches further at the top: Platinum Links for DR50+ editorial placements, exclusive media links at $450, and a Digital PR programme from $1,500 a month with a three-month minimum. Rhino Rank's extra formats are smaller tickets, such as Listicles from $135 and Visual Links from $60. See the link building cost guide for how these compare with typical market rates.

Both describe manual outreach. The HOTH says every link comes from outreach to real publishers, that it doesn't use a blog network, and that it verifies traffic with Semrush. Rhino Rank says its UK in-house team works from existing publisher relationships and Google searches, rejects PBNs and link farms, and doesn't resell a fixed database.

Content is included with both. The HOTH offers 500 to 2,000 word options on its outreach product. Rhino Rank's guest posts are 750+ words with one followed link.

How much control do you get?

Very little on standard orders, with either. The HOTH says it doesn't allow approval before posting on Link Outreach or Platinum Links. Rhino Rank's terms say standard services don't include pre-approval, though it may agree to it on request for an extra fee.

The managed services differ. HOTH X assigns a dedicated SEO manager who runs strategy across links, content and technical SEO. Rhino Rank's managed service sends a proposal covering link types, target URLs and anchor strategy for you to approve before any work starts, which gives you more say over the links themselves.

Which delivers faster?

Rhino Rank publishes much shorter targets. The chart below plots each company's published turnaround to scale.

0 7 14 21 28 35 42 Published turnaround, days The HOTH Link Outreach, ~30 days The HOTH Link Insertions, ~30 days The HOTH Platinum Links, 4 to 5 weeks Rhino Rank Guest posts, 7 to 14 days Rhino Rank Curated Links, 14 to 21 days
Published turnaround, drawn to scale from each company's product pages (October 2026). Solid bars show the stated range; single figures are approximate.

Rhino Rank says it meets its published delivery targets on 99% of orders, and its terms describe them as targets rather than guaranteed dates. The HOTH says its turnaround is about 30 days because the whole process is manual.

Reporting, white label and guarantees

Both are set up for resellers. The HOTH says reports are white-labeled for resellers and show placements and site metrics. Rhino Rank's placement reports list every URL and export as an unbranded CSV, with monthly white label reports on managed plans.

On guarantees, Rhino Rank offers more on paper. It replaces lost links for 12 months and refunds a first order for any reason within 14 days of delivery, up to the lower of what you paid or $550. The HOTH replaces broken links for six months (a year on a discount contract or HOTH X), replaces unindexed insertions after ten weeks, and its terms say purchases are final, with a 30-day satisfaction window to fix issues.

Which should you choose?

Choose The HOTH if breadth matters more than price per link. It suits businesses that want a long-established US supplier for links, content, local SEO and a fully managed retainer, and agencies that want to resell that whole catalogue.

Choose Rhino Rank if you're buying links specifically and care about cost, speed and cover. Its lower entry tiers, shorter targets, longer replacement period and first-order refund make it the easier service to trial.
