link building guide

Privacy and Cookies

Last updated 3 October 2026

This policy explains what information linkbuildingguide.com (the "site") collects and how it's used. The short version: the site doesn't ask for your details, doesn't track you and doesn't set cookies.

Who is responsible for your data

The data controller is Get Ideal Limited, trading as fatjoe (company number 08475801), Point North, Park Plaza, Staffordshire, WS12 2DB, United Kingdom. Contact: support@fatjoe.com.

Your reading progress

On the Start here page you can tick guides as read. Those ticks are saved in your browser's local storage on your own device so they're still there next time you visit. They are never sent to us or anyone else. You can remove them at any time by clearing your browser's site data for linkbuildingguide.com.

Hosting and server logs

The site is hosted by Railway. Like any web host, its servers may record technical information when you load a page, such as your IP address, browser type and the page requested. This is used only to deliver the site securely and reliably, and to investigate errors or abuse.

If you email us

If you email us, we use your name, email address and message to reply. Emails are handled by the fatjoe support team under fatjoe's privacy policy. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries.

Fonts, images and other sites

All fonts and images are served from the site itself, so loading a page doesn't send your data to third parties such as font or image services. Links to other sites (for example YouTube, LinkedIn or a vendor's website) take you to that site, and its own privacy policy applies once you're there.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict how it's used, and to data portability. To use any of these rights, email support@fatjoe.com. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes

If the site starts collecting anything new, for example by adding analytics, this policy will be updated first and the date at the top will change.
